Year of the Rabbit Parade

Description

Edit: I added some bunnies because I though it might help to create a bunny parade feel, and I added confetti as well. Both are optional if you choose to color.

The new year of the rabbit is ushered in when a member of the rabbit kin parades through the streets riding on the back of a tiger. She has a lantern to light the way, and a bell to sound the cheer.

This is the line art for the year of the rabbit line art contest at :iconcolor-me-club: found here: -> [link]
If it wins, I will allow download for the layered lines (which has the full tiger (patterns and all where the dress covers it) As it is, the full size is available now, and I hope lots of people want to color it. Happy new Year everyone.

This wonderful Lineart about the Rabbit Parade is made by manic-goose. It's difficult to write a critique about a picture without depth, only consisting of lines and no colors, but let's see...

First of all, the picture has a really big size (3870x2687px) and clean accurate lines, which makes it perfectly to color. The picture has also much details, which makes it more lively (and time-consuming for the colorist to color all areas, but that's not the problem of the Lineart). The composition is good, only the top right and left corner are a bit empty, but they can filled out with colors and background. The bunny girl looks sweet and anatomically correct and the tiger naturally, too.
The only thing, I could criticize is, that the Lineart does not only consists of lines, also of black areas (pattern of the tiger). A "perfect" coloring don't have 100% black areas (such black areas only exist in Mangas). Okay, it's possible to color the lines, but that's a bit difficult... but I also don't want to criticize that fact, because the pattern is extremly accurate and nearly impossible to outline them.

In the end, it's a beautiful detailed Lineart, even it takes probably much time to color it well.
