Description

I am making a manga, and this is the first character I am developing. He is the one in the left and center panel. His name is Kojisai Teisu. If you want to see more of this character, this picture is part of a sequence of pictures featuring him. Feel free to use the links below to see more.

<--previous<-- -->next-->

Characters featured here: Meguia and Kojisai. When Meguia was human (yes she is a vampire) she had a crush on Kojisai but he went away for training. That was when she was turned. Everyone in the village simply thought she had died and so did Koji-kun when he came back. The truth was that she was taken to another country with the vampire who turned her. Life went on. She actually became extremely powerful and succeeded in killing the one who turned her (her master) and taking over his castle and minions. Koji of course being the prodigy that he was continued with his training. Then the war broke out. Humans on the one side were growing desperate and they decided to make an alliance with the vampire who ruled the darkness in that country, which happened to be Meguia. She agreed because they offered her plenty of blood and land in the conquered territories. Koji of course went to war as well. Meguia was overseeing her minions in battle when she saw one person somehow taking them all down effortlessly. At first she was intrigued and a little angry, but then she recognized the individual as her human crush, Koji-kun. I wont go into the rest of what happens. For now, that can be up to your imagination.

Very nice job! Once again, I am deeply humbled.^^

Just asking, is it a good idea to include vampires in ITTOD? I'm asking this out of concern for your story more than anything else. Because for one, vampires have been used quite a lot lately, and since there are a lot of people who don't care for them (and sorry to say I don't either), the number of people who read this will be limited in more ways than just age range bacause of it. No writer wants that to happen. Out of what I have read of your story so far --which is most of it (and I'm quite pleased)-- I recommend you be very careful how you handle all the magic stuff, if you're not, it will take the reality out of it, reader's respect included. Tolkien's LOTR books did an excellent job with it. That was the only time I saw wizards treated correctly.^^ In other words, don't overdo it like so many others do. I want it to be special.^^

p.s. I could certainly see where Kenshin influenced your plot. One of my characters was inspired by him.
